Code Explanation :
In this example the user's three numbers are stored in variables a, b and c respectively. The addresses of those numbers are transferred to the function cyclicSwap()
.
cyclicSwap(&a, &b, &c);
We assigned those addresses to pointers in the function definition of cyclicSwap()
.
cyclicSwap(int *n1, int *n2, int *n3) { ... }
When n1, n2 and n3 are modified inside cyclicSwap()
, the values a, b and c inside main()
are also adjusted.
Note: The cyclicSwap()
function is not returning anything.
